1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing, accessing, or using Jupyters ("the Software"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Software.

2. Description of Service

Jupyters is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that enables AI assistants to interact with Jupyter notebooks. The Software runs locally on your machine and does not transmit notebook data to external servers.

3. License Tiers

Free Tier

  • Limited to 3 tool calls per session
  • Basic notebook operations only
  • Personal, non-commercial use

Pro License ($29/month)

  • Unlimited tool calls
  • All features including variable inspection
  • Priority support
  • Single user license

Team License ($99/month)

  • Everything in Pro
  • Up to 5 team members
  • Team management features
  • Priority support

4. License Grant

Subject to these Terms and payment of applicable fees, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Software for your internal purposes.

You may NOT:

  • Redistribute, sell, or sublicense the Software
  • Reverse engineer or decompile the Software
  • Remove or modify license validation mechanisms
  • Share license keys with unauthorized users
  • Use the Software for illegal purposes

5. Payment Terms

  • Paid licenses are billed monthly via Stripe
  • Prices are in USD and exclude applicable taxes
  • Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period
  • No refunds for partial months

6. Refund Policy

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee for new subscriptions. If you're not satisfied with Jupyters, contact us within 14 days of purchase for a full refund. Refunds after 14 days are at our discretion.

7. Intellectual Property

The Software, including all code, documentation, and branding, is owned by Jupyters and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Your license does not grant ownership of any intellectual property.

8. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the security of your license key
  • Ensuring your use complies with applicable laws
  • Any actions taken using your license
  • Backing up your own data and notebooks

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

  • The Software will be error-free or uninterrupted
  • Results from the Software will be accurate
  • The Software will meet your specific requirements

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Software in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Jupyters from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Software or violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your license immediately if you violate these Terms. Upon termination:

  • Your right to use the Software ends immediately
  • You must uninstall the Software
  • License keys will be deactivated

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Stripe account or by contacting support.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Significant changes will be communicated via email or website notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of new Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Jupyters operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
